Half Term Holiday Clubs & Activities in Nottinghamshire.

Here's our list of popular Holiday Clubs for February Half Term 2020. There are limited spaces on each Holiday Club, so book your space now before it's too late!

Buds and Bark Holiday Club. Attenborough Nature Reserve. NG9 6DY

The Attenborough Nature Reserve provides Holiday Sessions which are packed full of activities including outdoor games, natural art, searching for wildlife, trails, crafts and more! All sessions are designed to get children outdoors and enjoying nature. Suitable for children aged 4-11. All children must be accompanied by an adult (adults go free!). Tuesday 18th February 2020 - 11 am - 1 pm and 2pm - 4pm. Thursday 20th - 11 am - 1 pm and 2pm - 4pm. Muddy Feet Outdoors. Wildcraft Adventure Day! Tollerton. NG12 4FT.

Muddy Feet Outdoors are running an Adventure Day to get your kids off their screens and out into the woods! Their Wildcraft Adventure Day sessions are open to children aged 6 and over. These sessions will run on selected dates throughout school holidays and will be held at their site in Tollerton.

Inspired by video games like “Minecraft” our Wildcraft Adventure Day takes many of the things kids love about their favourite video games and transforms them into an outdoor experience that kids will love. Over the day, children will be set a number of challenges, where they have to work together, learn outdoor skills and earn points along the way. Players will light their own campfire, “mine” for resources and use tools to complete the challenges.

Children must bring own lunch and water bottle. Throughout the day they will enjoy marshmallows and hot chocolate around the campfire. 10.30 am - 3.30 pm. £30 per child. Book your place here!

Premier Hucknall run their Holiday Clubs during Half Term at a number of venues in Nottingham.

Many Healthy Activities will be in store, consisting of (but not limited to) gymnastics, sports games, fencing, football, archery, performing arts and circus skills!

All activities are run by professional coaches with full enhanced DBS, safeguarding and first aid certificates. 

Papplewick & Linby Village Hall. February 20th and 21st, Children can choose from 9 am - 3.30 pm (£14.50), or 8.30 am - 5 pm (£17.50).

New Art Exchange will be running two Half Term Holiday Workshops - Tell Your Story and Shanty Towns.
 
Tell Your Story. Ages 11-16 -Using ideas of virtual worlds and gaming, during this session you will map out your ideal world by combining creative traditions from different cultures, and creating new ways of making art, drawing from your own background and experiences. FREE. Booking recommended!

Shanty Towns. Ages 7-10  - Take inspiration from Shezad Dawood's exhibition Encroachments to build a creative space of your own. Looking at shanty towns and settlements, you will construct your own 3D model den holding all sorts of wonders on the inside. Also, immerse yourself in the Mezzanine gallery exhibition, Jambo Cinema, to remember and reconstruct spaces that hold personal and nostalgic value. Tue 18, Wed 19, Thu 20 February. FREE. Robin Hood gymnastics is based on Haydn Road in Sherwood and provides loads of fun for both toddlers and older children during the school holidays. As well as their popular drop-in sessions for toddlers and parents, they also run Holiday Clubs.

Robin Hood Gymnastics run their school holiday clubs during all the local school holidays from Tuesday-Friday. They provide Gymnastic style fun and games in a safe and educational environment.

Little Wickets Holiday Camp run fun cricket camps welcome all abilities and include - Indoor Soft Ball, Cricket Techniques, Skills & Games, and Small Group Activities.

They cover all aspects of cricket in a fun and enjoyable environment. Separated into small activity groups based on their age and ability the children will develop technical skills, fair play, and teamwork.

Their Holiday Club will be running at Rushcliffe School in West Bridgford. Monday 17th, Tuesday 18th & Wednesday 19th February 2020.

The day starts at 9 am and finishes at 3.30 pm (early drop off 8.30 am - Pick up must be no later than 4 pm). Children should bring a packed lunch & plenty of drinks.

Available for 4 - 11 year olds. Children can book anything from a Half Day to all 3 Days.

Booking Discounts available until Sunday 9th February! - A Half Day is £15 - after the 9th February, this will be £20. A Full Day is £25 - after the 9th February, this will be £30.

Little Wickets Hot Shots is a unique opportunity for 3 -5-year-olds to enjoy two great sports while their parents/carers can sit back and watch the fun over a coffee or leave them to enjoy all the fun in safe hands.

Hot Shots will be running on Friday 21st February 2020. 9 am - 11.30 am (8.45 am registration) at  West Bridgford Tennis Club. £20 per morning (10%) discount for siblings.

The Mill Adventure Base. Kingsmill Reservoir. NG174PA

The Mill Adventure base Holiday Club offers an action-packed, fun-filled day out for the kids. There's a huge range of activities where kids get to learn new skills, build confidence and make new friends.
Their wide range of activities includes Archery, Indoor Climbing, low ropes, team games, Zip wire and tunnelling and many more!

The Activity Days are available for 8-12-year-olds and they'll get to enjoy at least three adventurous activities each day, with supervision throughout from qualified and experienced staff.

February 17th to February 21st. Drop off time is 8.30 am to 9.30 am and pick up time is 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm. 

The cost is £27 per child, per day and spaces are limited so bookings must be made in advance! Children must come with their own lunch and refreshments.

Rock Skills Academy. David Ross Sports Village, Beeston. NG7 2RD

Rock Skills Academy is based at the David Ross Sports village, their sessions aim to help young people learn to climb and then develop as climbers and athletes. Their coaches focus on the climbers own goals and desires which may involve competitions, outdoor climbing goals, DofE, GCSE appropriate sessions and much more. Camp Williams Holiday Club runtheir exciting Holiday Camps run throughout the year and are jam-packed with activities to keep children engaged and active. They will learn new skills, make friends, and create wonderful memories!

Their Holiday Camps are held at the Nottingham Emmanuel School and they’ll be running two age groups,  4-7-year-olds and 8-15-year-olds.

Activities include high-energy games, sports, crafts and messy play. 8 – 15-year-olds also get 3 skills clinics each day like climbing, archery, and game design!

(Due to Ofsted regulations, they can only accept children from 1st September following their fifth birthday.)

The Adventure Holiday Club at the National Watersports Centre is definitely one for action lovers! Their Adventure Holiday Club is suitable for children aged 8 - 14 and will run throughout the school holidays. The day starts at 8 - 8.30 am and finishes at 5 - 5.30 pm. Children will be picked up tired, happy and ready for a rest!

Activities are listed below and a packed lunch will be included -
