Easter Holiday Workshops: Fun Dance

Build basic dance skills, make friends and have loads of fun with New Art Exchange and their free Easter Dance Workshops. Led by experienced dancer and actor Jay Pollitt you will explore movement and try out different styles of dance. The workshops run over four days are split into sessions for 7-10-year-olds (10.30am – 12.30pm) and 11-16-year-olds (2 pm – 4 pm). At the end of the four sessions, you will create your own exciting dance routine. Learn new skills and have fun. Monday 9 April – Thursday 12 April. Saturday Art Club

Drop into their family art club, every Saturday between 10.30am – 12.30pm for free creative activities inspired by The Real DMZ exhibition. During the Easter season, create can your own board game, explore patterns and optical illusions and using block printing, make your own magazines and flyers! Tilly Pots, Ravenshead - Easter Workshop April 9th

Tilly Pots are providing Unicorn and Dinosaur Decopatch workshops on April 9th, 2018 - Children get to decorate using acrylic paints, sequins, glitter, foil, gems and flowers to create their very own wall art or Dinosaur. Items can be taken home that day. Take a look at their other workshops on their website, their slime making classes are a hit!

This workshop will last for 1 1/2 hours and costs £10 per child. Workshops start at 10 and 1 pm.

Catwalk Gallery at Nottingham Contemporary

Join in at Nottingham Contemporary, get creative and make wonderful costumes that are almost too good to wear!

Families can get together and create fantastic costumes before hitting the catwalk! These fun costume making workshops are on daily (except Mondays) from Friday 30 March to Sunday 15 Apr. Each day families can drop in from 11 am to 3 pm, there's no need to book and all activities are free.

Nottingham Contemporary is closed on Mondays (except Bank Holidays) View their family activities here.

Easter at Robin Hoods Wheelgate Park. March 24th - April 15th

Wheelgate Park has lots of family fun in store for the Easter break. Families can enjoy the usual entertainment, rides and adventure play areas as well as joining in on the Easter frolics. They have TREX, Baby Dino's and Peppa Pig making appearances and chocolate treats ready to be found over the Easter season.

Peppa Pig will be there on March 30th, you can have Breakfast with Bunny on March 31st and meet T-REX from April 4th - 8th.

Wollaton Hall and Deer Park Easter Trail. 25th March - 15th April

Wollaton Hall invites families to go on the hunt together and help Easter Bunny find all of the Easter eggs hidden around Wollaton Park and discover the 'secret word'.

Letters will be hidden in the grounds for families to find. If all the hidden letters are found then you get to claim your reward!

Trails are available from the Courtyard Shop from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm daily and cost £1 per trail.

Trails are running daily from Sunday 25th March to Sunday 15th April.

Brookfields Garden Centre Easter Fun day. Saturday 31st March

The Easter Bunny will be at Brookfields Garden Centre from 11 am to 3 pm on Saturday 31st March.

Join the hunt for clues to find the eggs, the Easter Bunny will reward you with a chocolate treat at the end. Other activities include egg painting (£1.50 per child) and face painting.

There will also be two photo competitions. Families can take part in a number of photo opportunities and post to Brookfields Facebook page to be in with a chance of winning a £20 Brookfields voucher, this competition will run for 1 week. Rufford Abbey. March 24th - April 15th

Rufford Abbey invites you to come and enjoy the grounds and take part in their Special Easter Egg Hunt. Kids get to enjoy an Easter treat when they've followed the trail and found the clues.

The trail costs £2 and will be open from 10.30am from the 24th of March until approximately 4 pm.

Easter Egg Hunt at Greens Windmill - March 30th - April 1st

'Eggciting' Easter Egg Hunt with Greens Windmill

Green’s Windmill will be providing daily Egg Hunts where you and your little ones can win fantastic prizes! During the Easter Weekend, you can walk around the community garden and search for their hidden eggs and win a bumper prize pack.

Egg Hunts cost £5 per child, they will be running on the 30th March, 31st March & 1st April.

You can drop in from 10 am - 3 pm each day.There's no need to book and all proceeds will go to the Green's Windmill Trust.

Newstead Abbey Easter Bunny Trail. Friday 30th March - Sunday 15th April

Easter Bunny Trail, Newstead Abbey.

This Easter trail at Newstead Abbey is asking you and your little ones to help find some lost eggs and if anyone finds the Golden Egg they win a prize.

Each Trail costs £1 and are running daily from the 30th of March to the 15th of April.

Check out the displays of local industrial heritage including lace making, telecommunications, mining and more whilst you hunt for Easter Eggs with your family.

Easter at Cresswell Crags. March 24th - April 15th

Easter at the Crags! is offering a number of Easter Activities over the school holidays to keep you and your little ones busy and creative. There will be plant and insect-based craft workshops so kids can get immersed in their nature theme.

•Make and create insect houses, for all the beautiful bugs in your back garden. Cost - £4

•There will also be a huge Egg hunt around the gorge, with prizes for those that complete the egg hunts

•Sat 7th April - Create beautiful plant and animal sculptures made out of recycled materials with local artist, Michelle Reader! Sessions will run throughout the day starting at 10:30 am. £5 per person.

The Easter Egg fun begins on March 30th and runs every day until April 8th. You and your family can enjoy a day at the theme park and take part in the Egg Hunt between 10 am and 5 pm.

Spring Activities by Gedling Play Forums and Gedling Borough Council.

This is very popular and spaces are already limited! There will be a wide variety of craft workshops available all following the spring theme. There will also be story-telling,  a drumming workshop and activities using recycled materials to add to the mix.

Activities are suitable for ages 4-10, additional activities for younger children will be available and parents will need to supervise at all times.

There are two sessions available;
Session 1 - 1pm - 2.30pm
Session 2 - 3pm - 4.30pm

Erewash Museum is providing free crafts at White Post farm on Monday 26th, Tuesday 27th, Wednesday 28th and Friday 30th and an Easter-themed activity hunt.

On Thurs 29th March White Post Farm will join in on the fun with some of their small cuddly, furry friends. These workshops cost £1.50 per child over the age of 2.
