Xmas and New Year Holiday Clubs

Have you sussed out your plans for the festive School Holidays?

If you need childcare over the Christmas period or varied activities to keep boredom at bay, take a look at our list of fun and energetic Holiday Clubs in Nottinghamshire.

YMCA Camp Williams.

Camp Williams run popular Holiday camps throughout the year which are full of activities to keep children engaged and active. They will learn new skills, make friends, and create wonderful memories!

This Xmas their Holiday Camps are held at the Nottingham Emmanuel School and they’ll be running two age groups,  4-7-year-olds and 8-15-year-olds.

Activities include high-energy games, sports, crafts and messy play. 8 – 15-year-olds also get 3 skills clinics each day like climbing, archery, and game design!

(Due to Ofsted regulations, they can only accept children from 1st September following their fifth birthday.)

Sprouts

Sprouts run imaginative drama workshops for 2 age groups (4-7 yrs and 8-11 yrs).

Children get to put together a whole show in just 3 days, and parents get to watch on the 3rd day! Each day includes learning songs, playing games and everyone has a part to play in the show.

4-7-year-olds will perform The Snow Queen –  £35 (£30 for siblings)

Each day includes learning the story, songs and characters as well as playing games and having lots of fun. Parents get to watch the full show at the end with children dressed in full costumes!

8 – 11s – Will perform Around the World in 80 Days – £58 (£48 siblings)

Sprouts will be giving budding performers a taste of real theatre! Children will learn the basics of character creation and stagecraft. At the end of the course, they'll perform the story within a real theatre setting.

Robin Hood Gymnastics

Robin Hood Gymnastics offer Holiday Clubs to school age children every school holiday. Their Xmas Holiday Club dates are -

December 27th, 28th & 29th

January 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th

All Holiday Club gymnasts will be allowed a taster session before membership will be needed. Children must arrive at 9.20am.

£25 for a full day 

£15 for a half day (12.30 pick up)

£80 for 4 full days

They also offer weekly recreational gymnastics, Preschool drop-ins, dance classes and general fitness.

Kreative creations

Kreative Creations will be running 3 one-day holiday clubs. You can book for one, two or all three! 

Children will get their creative juices flowing with a variety of activities including textiles, sewing, painting, vix bricks, drawing, animation & much more!

‘At Kreative creations, we encourage creative freedom, therefore, we never know what the children are going to produce which makes it so exciting’

As well as creative Holiday Clubs, Kreative creations can also be booked for after-school clubs and parties.

Each day starts at 9 am and finishes at 5.30pm and they also provide wrap around care from 8.30am - 6 pm.

Excel Sports Coaching

Excel Sports Coaching run an exciting, action-packed programme for children aged 5-11. They have two venues and activities vary from day to day so children can pick a day that suits their interests or go for a day where they can try something new.

Rushcliffe Arena, Nottingham will be running the following activities:-

*Gymnastics and Games – 3rd Jan

*Gold Medal Games – 4th Jan

*Christmas Arts & Crafts – 5th Jan

Bingham Leisure Centre, Nottingham will be running a one-day Holiday Club:-

*Multisports and GO Karting – 5th Jan

Each day runs from 08:30 to 17:30. Children should bring a packed lunch, plenty to drink and wear comfortable clothing.

There will be a tuck shop on the day so your child may want to bring a little pocket money
