Martial Arts is a great way for children to let off steam, gain confidence and build self-esteem.
Here are 6 Martial Arts School in Nottingham.
JJBBA have fantastic motivational classes for children aged 3 and upwards and also Family Classes. Their mission is to build confidence, self-esteem, fitness or self-defense. They provide training at their Mapperely venue and many other venues across Nottingham.
The Shudokan Black Belt Academy
They offer classes 6 days a week and run classes during the daytime and evenings. Beginners are welcome at any time. They have classes to suit age and ability, Little Dragons (4-7-yr olds) is on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. Junior Cadets (8-16-year-olds) is on every day apart from Sundays.
Warrior Martial Arts and Little Tiger Cubs
They provide flexible training times and days for their Junior programs. Children are split into age groups, Little Tiger Cubs (3-5 year olds), Juniors (5-8 year olds) and Juniors (6-16 yr olds). Classes are held in Beeston and West Bridgford.
Aikido West Bridgford Martial Arts & Self Defence
Life skills, focus, coordination, and fitness are just some of the focal points for their Little Dragons classes (4-9 year olds). Their Junior martial arts classes cater for 10 - 16 year olds. Classes are held in West Bridgford and run on some weekdays afterschool and Saturday mornings.
Capoeira is a combination of swift high kicks, music and acrobatic style moves. Their popular classes for 4-10 year olds are held on Fridays at 5.30pm, Saturdays at 10 am and their over 11s class are Saturdays at 11.30am. They have family sessions too, all classes are held at the YMCA near the City Centre.
Tek Kickboxing runs family kickboxing sessions in Bingham, Wollaton and West Bridgford. Their 'Mini Masters program' for 4-8 year olds is held at the Tek Academy in Beeston, and their Beginners classes are held in Arnold.
